Kristen Wiig argues with James Franco about her monologue

WARNING: Extreme language.

Here is a funny joke video about how James Franco got fired from Knocked Up.

She's Kristen and not Kirsten. Hahahaha.

As a bonus, here is James Franco's tape about his graduation speech. This is why he never gave the speech. WARNING: Language.

Kristen Wiig - as an extra in Parks and Recreation

At the beginning of this episode, Kristen Wiig walks by while Tom delivers a pickup line, and then at the end of his pickup lines, we see Kristen again as Tom tries a second time.

Parks and Recreation - Season 2 : Ep. 20|21:33

Aired 3/25/2010.

Kristen is on at 0:29 and 1:01, wearing a red shirt with a pink collar (under it). Kristen is wearing decently heavy make-up, much like her A-Holes character. She also isn't walking with perfect posture. Because she's an extra, the camera never focuses on her face.

Kristen Wiig in upcoming SNL documentary

New Star-Studded "Saturday Night Live" Documentary Debuts April 15

NBC Presents a Brand New Behind-The-Scenes "SNL" Special: "Saturday Night Live In The 2000s: Time And Again" On Thursday, April 15 (9:00 - 11:00 PM ET/PT)

All-Star Line-Up Including Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Tracy Morgan and Justin Timberlake Telling Tales From SNL's Recent Past

NEW YORK - March 24, 2010 - Continuing to tell the story of "Saturday Night Live," NBC presents a new installment of the compelling behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling the highs and lows of the iconic comedy show. "Saturday Night Live in the 2000s: Time And Again" airs on Thursday, April 15 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Following up on his Emmy-nominated and critically acclaimed documentaries "Live From New York: The First 5 Years of Saturday Night Live," "Saturday Night Live in the '80s: Lost and Found," and "Saturday Night Live in the '90s: Pop Culture Nation" writer, director, producer Kenneth Bowser (Emmy nominee for "John Ford/John Wayne; The Filmmaker & The Legend," "Easy Riders & Raging Bulls") has created a film that looks at the stratospheric reach of the show in the 2000s.

The decade saw "SNL" going from being named "a national institution" by the prestigious Peabody Awards to achieving record-shattering ratings, grabbing countless headlines and primetime exposure during the political elections.

Among the new and candid interviews are creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels, and many of the stars of the show including: Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Abby Elliott, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Will Forte, Bill Hader, Darrell Hammond, Chris Kattan, Seth Meyers, Tracy Morgan, Bobby Moynihan, Chris Parnell, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg, Horatio Sanz, Molly Shannon, Jason Sudeikis, Kenan Thompson, and Kristen Wiig. In addition, some of the most memorable hosts in SNL history - Alec Baldwin, Christopher Walken, Senator John McCain, and Justin Timberlake also offer insights.

"This special features the funniest clips and most dramatic moments of the decade on SNL, along with new interviews with the biggest stars of comedy," said Rick Ludwin, Executive Vice President of Late Night and Prime Time Series, "Don't miss it!"

Transcending the traditional retrospective clip show, this film is jam-packed with unforgettable moments from the decade. Between political debates, elections, and the tragedy of September 11th, SNL gave its viewers laughs during their darkest times. Along with the popularity of digital shorts like "Lazy Sunday" and "D**k In A Box," the women of SNL, "Weekend Update" history, and special appearances from political candidates, the film will explore these events with a behind-the-scenes look at how the decade affected the show and its cast. These are the stories fans haven't heard - all presented in the same funny, fast-paced, nostalgic format that earned "The First 5 Years" an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Non-Fiction Special. The stories from the 2000s are framed and propelled by the best musical acts of the decade, including: Alicia Keys, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Avril Lavigne, Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Linkin Park, Ludacris, My Morning Jacket, Paul Simon, The Killers, and Wilco.

Should Kristen Stewart host SNL?

Kristen starred in Adventureland with Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig.

Over the past two years Kristen Stewart has experienced a sudden surge in her career thanks to her coveted role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga. She recently premiered her latest film The Runaways, and admitted after starring in so many serious projects she’d love to lighten up a bit. The actress wants to try her hand at comedy by hosting an episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

“They haven’t asked me to do it,” she said, adding “I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really really scary. I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny – next!’ “

http://screencrave.com/2010-03-12/kristen-stewart-wants-to-host-saturday-night-live/

Should Kristen host SNL? I'm actually surprised they haven't asked her, what with the Twilight business.

It would be interesting to see if Kristen Stewart would be comfortable around Bill and Kristen Wiig (seeing how she starred in Adventureland with them).

Was Kristen Wiig filming that week or is she not in the club?

Was Kristen Wiig filming that week or is she not in the club? James Franco's SNL documentary has people wondering...

The cronyism of the SNL institution is reflected in the film itself--Franco friends Forte and Hader are featured prominently, while cast members who fall out of the 30-something white dude demographic like Kristen Wiig and Kenan Thompson are barely seen outside of the context of sketches. Then a recent addition to the cast and now no longer on the show, Casey Wilson is seen struggling to get material on air, while even newer cast member Bobby Moynihan is written into sketches by Hader and Fred Armisen. Franco himself is caught on camera, smoking, chatting with cast and crew, beginning sentences with the phrase, "When I hosted the show..." apparently without irony.

Betty White's Mothers Day episode

Legendary Emmy Winner Betty White Hosts 'Saturday Night Live' On May 8.

NEW YORK, NY - March 11, 2010 - Legendary and multiple Emmy Award winner Betty White will take her long-anticipated turn at hosting NBC's "Saturday Night Live" on May 8. White will make her first appearance in Studio 8H.

The six-time Emmy winner and cultural icon will host "SNL" for the first time in her illustrious seven-decade-long career. White is best known for her performance as Rose Nylund on NBC's "The Golden Girls," the beloved comedy series that aired from 1985 to 1992. Previously, she co-starred as Sue Ann Nivens in the classic comedy series "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

In January, White was the proud recipient of the 2010 SAG Lifetime Achievement Award. White appeared in the 2009 romantic-comedy feature film "The Proposal," alongside Ryan Reynolds and Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, and can be seen again this fall in the film "You Again," starring Kristin Bell.

"I can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day weekend than with Betty White " said Lorne Michaels, Creator and Executive Producer of SNL. "Saturday Night Live" is from SNL Studios in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels. Steve Higgins and Marci Klein are producers. Ken Aymong is supervising producer. Seth Meyers is head writer. Don Roy King directs.

Betty White will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8. Former cast members Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, and Rachel Dratch will also appear in the Mother’s Day episode.

So will Kristen also get featured well in this episode, or will she get lost in the female star shuffle?

Ken found Kristen's Secret Word character to be annoying

The night’s first sketch was “Secret Word,” a Password parody SNL has done before… which means we knew that we’d have to watch Kristen Wiig as flamboyant, stupid actress Mindy Grayson, who (this was the bit’s sole joke) always says the “secret word” instead of giving her partner clues to guess at it. Absolutely suffocating, and I even watch Password reruns occasionally:

Kristen Wiig - interview about Paul

We're dying for more information about Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's alien-encounter comedy Paul, especially now that it's been delayed. Luckily, we cornered co-star Kristen Wiig, and mind-probed her to learn more about the film's science-fictional in-jokes.

During a roundtable discussion for her next film MacGruber at SXSW, Kristen Wiig shared a tiny Paul moment, that already has excited. It's no secret that writers Frost and Pegg are massive genre geeks. And this film, about two comic book nerds on a road trip to San Diego Comic Con who pick up an alien along the way, is packed with genre in-jokes. And if what Wiig shared is typical of the rest of the film, there should be plenty more nods to classic science fiction.

What kind of character do you get to play in Paul?

I play a girl who lives with a very sort of controlling, very Christian religious father and I don't believe in evolution or any of that stuff. So when I finally see Paul, the alien, I kind of freak out, and question what God is, and all that stuff.

Are you up on all the science fiction references that Simon and Nick do?

Some of them, yes. There's a scene in a bar where they are actually playing the Star Wars bar song, [The Cantina Scene]. But it's a country version so it's sort of slow — so you need to kind of already know that. But a lot of people who knew it were like, "oh my God!" But I didn't really.

This is Kristen's second outing in this Bill and Kristen skit. The first one was on 11.21.2009.

Kristen Wiig kills her husband in Besos Y Lagrimas

Updated with an image. Originally posted 3/2/10.

Show: Besos Y Lagrimas

Drama Latin-style; Fred wears an eye patch.

Jennifer Lopez ... Josefina
Fred Armisen ... Telemundo actor
Abby Elliott ... Sonya
Bill Hader ... lawyer
Steve Higgins ... announcer (voice)
Jason Sudeikis ... Carlos
Kristen Wiig ... Madelena

Interestingly, this was an older SNL sketch that aired twice...
02.21.2004
04.08.2006

It featured Chris Parnell, Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz, and Fred Armisen. Chris wore the eye patch. This is Kristen's second go at this skit, so she got bumped up to basically co-star with Fred.

It's interesting that the skit has changed most of its players (only Fred is consistent with all three), but it still works very well, even with different actors.

Kristen Wiig is Kathie Lee Gifford - new Today Show

Show: Today

Zach Galifianakis
Abby Elliott ... Sara Haines
Bobby Moynihan ... security guard
Jenny Slate ... Hoda Kotb
Kristen Wiig ... Kathie Lee Gifford

Hoda and Kathie Lee welcome an unexpected guest.

Jenny Slate's second run as Hoda. How'd she do?

Abby gets to try out a new impression.

I originally thought Kristen's Kathy Lee was too annoying, but I've liked her a little more when paired with Jenny's Hoda.

Fred Armisen ... Mr. Vogelcheck
Abby Elliott ... mourner
Will Forte ... grandfather
Bill Hader ... Dwayne Vogelcheck
Bobby Moynihan ... Ronnie
Jenny Slate ... Shelley
Kenan Thompson ... pastor
Kristen Wiig ... Mrs. Vogelcheck

Grief can bring a family closer.

Kristen gets her breasts grabbed again. This is the third time. This time Bill Hader has the honors.

Jenny looks good here. It's fun just to watch her facial expressions during the kissing.

Kristen kisses lots of people here as the Vogelcheck mom. Not quite like Fred's passionate kiss to Will's corpse, though.

This is Kristen's third Mrs. Vogelcheck (she's been in all 3 as the mom).

Kristen Wiig as Pelosi in the Obama Cold Open

Cold Opening: Health Care Reform

Fred Armisen ... Barack Obama
Jim Downey ... announcer (voice)
Will Forte ... Harry Reid
Kristen Wiig ... Nancy Pelosi

President Obama addresses health care reform.

I just saw a Hulu commercial for Disneyland's Toy Story Midway Mania ride. Sweet.

Anyway, what did you think of Kristen's latest Pelosi?

This is Kristen's 8th run of Pelosi. Cameron Diaz and Amy Poehler also did Pelosi, once each, but Kristen owns the impression.

Enjoy!

Kristen Wiig in Bidet (SNL skit)

The hotel room comes equipped.

Sketch: Bidet

Zach Galifianakis ... guest
Andy Samberg ... Herlin
Kristen Wiig ... guest

Andy plays the hotel employee. The gag here is that the guests really dig in to the details about what the room comes with, especially the bidet.

I think this would have been funnier if they dug into the details of all the hotel accomodations and not just concentrated on the bidet.

Good stuff though.

Film Zach Drops By The Set :

Zach Galifianakis
Anthony Anderson
Brian Williams
Jack McBrayer
Jane Krakowski

Mehmet Oz

And I think I saw Kristen Wiig in the audience at the end.

Plus the TLI dudes most likely did the shooting and chopping (editing).

13 Things Penelope Does Better Than You

Wow, we've got to hand it to the writer, Rachel Dovey... this is a great article.

Here are some of the things she has done way better than you:

1) Befriended all the Muppets, including Scooter.
2) Made a summer home on Jupiter.
3) Had 20/80 vision—cat eyes.
4) Gotten really angry, in a large hallway, holding a golf cart.
5) Driven herself in a nut car, doing promotional work for Planter. It was a Mr. Peanut on wheels; the windshield was a monocle and the convertible roof was a top-hat.
6) Been a puppet on Fraggle Rock.
7) Been best friends with a tomato and Liza Minnelli.
8) Had a salad bar in her car—the steering wheel was a giant crouton.
9) Served M&M&M&M’s from Iceland at her wedding.
10) Worn horse blinders.
11) Bought a day from the government to celebrate National Penelope Day.
12) Had six children who spoke 44 languages before birth.
13) Invented kayaks.

Women of Comedy - SNL special

While Kristen isn't going to be featured, this could be interesting.

Because Kristen is the female lead on SNL right now and is probably the most used cast member on SNL (including the dudes), I imagine that this would create some good opportunities for her to team up with Betty White, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Molly Shannon.

So it's not official, but there's a good chance that Betty White, 88, will co-host a "women of comedy" episode of SNL with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Molly Shannon. That would break two records... the oldest host and the most hosts.

I believe the previous record was two, kept by...

February 22, 1992 - Tom Arnold and Rosanne Barr
At the time, they were married and both on the successful Roseanne show. Tom cameo'd in Feb 91 when Roseanne first hosted, and then he came back to host by himself in Dec 92 and Feb 96. I think the highlight of his career was when he costarred in True Lies as the comedy relief. Sorry Tom.

February 12, 1994 - Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin
The only time Kim was on SNL. But it was great; a Family Feud with the Baldwins, she was Robin opposite Mike Meyers' hyper hypo Philip, and she even had a talk with Chris Farley. This was Alec's fourth time hosting. I think he just wanted to share the fun with his wife.

January 17, 2004 - Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey
They were hot off their Newlyweds show and specials. They pretty much milked their relationship all the way to the divorce (which might have come as the result of milking it).

May 15, 2004 - The Olsen Twins
They were on to promote New York Minute. They had some success with the theatrical release, It Takes Two, and then they had some more direct to home successes, a cameo in Charlie's Angels 2, and they were hoping to find success in New York Minute.
That flop broke them. Literally. They broke up. That was their last movie. However, valued at $150 million each (from commission on so many direct to TV movies, merchandise, shows, etc.), they continued separately. Mary Kate tries to keep acting without her sister, but without her twin she is reduced to a common actress. Meanwhile, Ashley launched her own clothing line... and became even more rich and is the only one of the two who is still currently celebrated in magazines.

And here's the article about how Betty White, Tina, Amy, and Molly might set that new record...

Betty White Edges Closer to 'Saturday Night Live'

The Facebook group "Betty White to Host SNL (please?)," launched in late December 2009, now boasts over 425,000 members. It's an online group that is, according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, "this close" to achieving its dream of having White (at least partially) host an upcoming episode of the iconic live sketch comedy show.

There is reasonable concern that White — now 88 — could face challenges with the hectic pace of the week of preparation leading up to a Saturday taping. It's a frantic event that includes both a full dress rehearsal and a live show, both performed in front of studio audiences.

A clever workaround involves centering White in a show honoring "Women of Comedy," allowing White to share the hosting duties with ex-"SNL" cast members Tina Fey, Molly Shannon, and Amy Poehler. In an email to Ausiello, he confirms that he is "100 percent certain" that "SNL" wants White as the centerpiece for the "Women of Comedy" episode.

If White does co-host "SNL," she would set a record as the oldest host... Previously, Ruth Gordon — best known for playing Maude in "Harold and Maude" and Clint Eastwood's co-star in "Every Which Way but Loose" — also hosted at the age of 80 in 1977. Betty White would be over 80 years older than "SNL's" youngest host, Drew Barrymore, who was just under 8 years old when she hosted in 1982.

This would also mark only the 19th time in "SNL" history that the show has featured multiple hosts on the same night...

Bill Hader ... Richard Branson
Bobby Moynihan ... employee
Nasim Pedrad ... Mary-Kate Olsen
Jenny Slate ... Ashley Olsen
Jason Sudeikis ... director
Kenan Thompson ... employee
Kristen Wiig ... Martha Stewart

Kristen does a stellar Martha Stewart here at the end.

This is Kristen's first Martha. The most famous Martha Stewart was Ana Gasteyer who played her as overly cheerful. Ana portrayed Martha 13 times!

I think Kristen has something here, playing her cocky like this. It's hard to break into an impression when someone else on SNL owned it for so long. But I think Kristen gives it a fresh take.
