Is Kristen Wiig one of Larry King's last guests?

Larry King has an incredible line-up this week.

Barbara Walters will appear tonight in what CNN is billing as her “final interview” for Larry King Live.

Last night he had on Jimmy Carter and tomorrow night will be Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Jerry Seinfeld is on tomorrow night and promises to reveal “one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets.”

The cast of SNL and Lorne Michaels will be the final guests.

This week is the first week in a long time that it’s worth tuning in to watch Larry King Live!

I believe this means the SNL cast is on Friday night.

So Kristen Wiig should be on Larry's show along with Lorne and the rest of the cast. We'll wait and see!

Kristen Wiig lost the Emmy to Jane Lynch

Jane Lynch won for her role on Glee. Lynch beat out Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara of Modern Family, Kristen Wiig of SNL, Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock, and Holland Taylor of Two and a Half Men. Lynch recently married her girlfriend Dr. Lara Embry.

This is actually not too bad for SNL, seeing how Jane is leading the season as a host.

Emmy Awards this Sunday!

According to a report by Digital Spy, the stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and their co-star Alexander Skarsgard will be presenting at the highly-anticipated event.



The Emmy Awards this year will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, and Kate Gosselin will reported also make an appearance on the show, although, what she will be doing has yet to be revealed.

Other presenters that have thus far been revealed are Edie Falco, Ricky Gervais and Sofia Vergara at the ceremony.

Kristin Wiig is always impressive in "SNL" as the best actor/chameleon on the show. The Lawrence Welk sketch as well as the riotous "Weekend Update" appearance are hilarious. But I kept thinking she might not have had enough for a win here, especially because her submission last year was superior and obviously not enough for the win.

In other SNL nomination news, Betty White and Tina Fey were nominated for guest actress (Tina's third SNL nomination after leaving the show, and she's had one win; she was never nominated on the show). Andy and TLI were nominated for Shy Ronnie (Original Music and Lyrics). SNL was also nominated for its Comedy Series category, and it was nominated for the special, "Saturday Night Live In The 2000s: Time And
Again." (Plus lighting, makeup, writing, and technical direction.)

Once again, Andy was the only SNL dude nominated. This just goes to show SNL's progress in female comedy. Another sign of that is that three of the Comedy Lead Acresses were from SNL... Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
