ReplyDeleteI think she is going to tear it up in films! So far, she's cut out a niche market as a supporting comedy actress in films (already!). And in Whip It, she was actually a main character, on screen more than Juliette Lewis, Drew Barrymore, and anyone else from the rolly derby world that Ellen's Bliss character encountered.
And Kristen was playing a dramatic role (with a few comedic awkward moments, but really it was a straight character). She proved to me that Kristen is going places as a lead comedian and as a lead dramatic actress. I think a starring role in a Judd comedy is the next logical step.

Yeah I totally agree, her roll in Whip It was amazing and she played it so well. I know she can be the star of any type of film, comedy, drama, whatever. She is just one awesome person.
