Delaware's GOP Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell has some skeletons in her closet.
Cold Opening RNC Headquarters
Vanessa Bayer ... secretary
Bill Hader ... Jim Boucher
Jason Sudeikis ... Ted Jessup
Kristen Wiig ... Christine O'Donnell
Kristen makes this impression her own. You definitely see pieces of her other skits in here, including where she flies off (very Penelope like).
Again, her impression comes across as a little "mean," don't you think? Like I think of these people watching their own impressions, and Kristen's would easily create a hateful reaction from the person she's imitating.
Still funny though.
Thoughts?
Enjoy!
Kristen Wiig is 3x Emmy-nominated and arguably the most successful female SNL player of all time. (1) She has 57 impressions. (2) She has 27 recurring characters. (3) She's been in 20 movies. (4) She wrote/acted in the hit film, Bridesmaids... NEXT FILMS: Friends with Kids, Revenge for Jolly, Imogene, Comedian, How to Train Your Dragon 2, & Clown Girl.

Yes. I kinda wonder why that is. Does she think that it wouldn`t be funny if the impression was "friendly"? I can totally see why Kathie Lee was so pissed.
Very good satire. This particular candidate is weird, and I think Kristin's routine underscores that strange reality. I loved the witch routine at the end. Political candidates make great targets for satire. SNL is famous for targeting Bill Clinton, George W and now Obama. I imagine NY candidate Paladino will be the next target; he's a piece of work too.
