Bridesmaids Cast Interview

After a rough night a hungover bridesmaid sits down to ask Paul Feig, Judd Apatow, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Wendi Mclendon Covey and Melissa McCarthy some questions about their movie, Bridesmaids and for a possible ride home.

Another interviewer trying to become famous. But it's still a good bit.

This is a brief interview with Kristen Wiig and others on the red carpet before the 2011 Emmys.

Kristen Wiig - 7 Minutes in Heaven with Mike O'Brien

So Mike is attempting to do what Zach Galifianakis did with Between Two Ferns (interview celebrities in weird ways to get famous).

Regardless, it's funny, and Kristen is great:

Kristen Wiig, star of "Bridesmaids" and "Saturday Night Live," swings by the closet to chat with Mike.

Mike is an SNL writer, and this is a Web series by NBC.

I think it's funny that it's called 7 minutes of heaven, and he meets with the celeb for 7 minutes in a closet, but he cuts it down to about 4 minutes to just include the funny or interesting bits.

Of course the kiss is super awkward. I like the way Kristen enters and exits.

Kristen Wiig on Jimmy Kimmel (video interview)

Part 1 of Jimmy's interview with Kristen Wiig.

Kristen reveals that the Target Lady is based off a woman who worked in the Burbank Target store. Kristen asked for directions and was surprised by her voice.

Aunt Linda was inspired by a woman on an airplane who was confused when watching a movie (and very vocal about her confusion).

Kristen also mentions that Aunt Linda and Target Lady were first performed at the Groundlings before she was on SNL. She performed Aunt Linda as watching The Matrix and being super confused by the movie. I can see how that would be funny (watching Kristen watch clips of The Matrix as Aunt Linda).

Lawrence Welks (with Doonese) was written by Kristen and a writer, Andrew. The big forehead and tiny hands were notes, but they didn't really think that the props and makeup crew would make it so obvious until the crew came to Kristen and started asking her what she wanted. So it kind of came about naturally.

Part 2 of Jimmy's interview with Kristen Wiig:

Kristen's mom didn't like Gilly.

Kristen isn't leaving SNL yet, and to address Jimmy, there's no way she can break some of these SNL player records. Fred, Kenan, Jason, Seth, Andy, and Bill have all been on longer than she has.

Kristen addresses her fake Twitter account and how weird that was to read things that made her look lame.

Kristen Wiig says Miley Cyrus was up for anything on SNL

Miley Cyrus Was 'Up For Anything' On 'SNL,' Kristen Wiig Says. 'That's always, to me, what makes a host fun to have around,' she tells MTV News.

If Miley Cyrus seemed loose hosting "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend, it's because she was.

"SNL" castmember Kristen Wiig tells MTV News the teen queen was not only a blast to have on the set, but also didn't seem to suffer from any anxiety about doing live TV.

"Yes, Miley [was fun to work with]," Wiig said while in New York on Monday (March 7) doing press for her alien-comedy flick, "Paul." "She's cool. It was really, really fun."

Guest host Miley poked fun at her own infamous bong video controversy, as well as at Justin Bieber — whom she played alongside Vanessa Bayer, who just so happens to play Cyrus on the "SNL" skit "The Miley Cyrus Show." Cyrus even went for Lindsay Lohan and Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie. And it was Cyrus' willingness to have a little fun at her own expense that made her the perfect host, according to Wiig.

"Yeah, she was great," the actress said. "She was up for anything. That's always, to me, what makes a host fun to have around. They'll make fun of themselves or how the media perceives them. She was up for anything, which was so great."

In addition to the performance by the Strokes, some of the night's other highlights included Miley's musical number "I'm Sorry I'm Not Perfect" and "Disney Channel Acting School," where Miley and fellow Disney star Raven Symoné (played by Kenan Thompson) taught such subjects such as "Reacting to Stinky Feet" and "Spying in a Doorway," required skills for any actor on a Disney series.
